How We Made Sure the Data Was Actually Accurate


Here’s the part most people don’t talk about when they launch an AI tool: Testing whether it’s actually telling the truth.


We spent significant time cross-checking the C.A.S.H. Report against manual audits — looking at the same websites ourselves, checking the same social profiles, verifying the same SEO signals by hand — and comparing what we found to what the system found.


We also ran the same businesses through multiple AI tools including Grok to see how different systems interpreted the same data. What we found was that most AI tools either make confident-sounding guesses when data isn’t available, or they score everything as neutral when they can’t reach a data source.


We refused to do either of those things.


Every data point in the C.A.S.H. Report is labeled honestly. If we couldn’t scrape a competitor’s PageSpeed score because their site blocks Google’s Lighthouse crawler, the report says “Unavailable” — not 50 out of 100. If your Facebook data isn’t accessible without an API key, the report tells you that explicitly and explains why. If the JavaScript on your website is hiding your title tag from static crawlers but our renderer found it anyway, the report notes which method was used and flags it for your developer to fix properly.


This level of transparency is rare. We built it in on purpose because we believe you deserve to know exactly what the system knows — and what it doesn’t.

C — Content (20% of your score)**


This isn’t just about whether you’re posting on social media.


The Content pillar looks at how active and up to date your content is across your channels, whether your SEO foundation is set up so search engines can find you, and whether your website has the structure to be picked up by AI tools like ChatGPT and Google.


You might be posting consistently, but if key pieces are missing behind the scenes, it can limit how visible you really are.


A — Audience (30% of your score)**


A common issue we see is businesses trying to speak to everyone, which usually means the message doesn’t land with anyone.


The Audience pillar looks at whether your content and messaging are built for a clear, defined customer. It checks if you are showing up in the right places, if your brand feels consistent, and if your message actually connects with the people you want to reach.


If your positioning feels too broad or unclear, this is where it starts to show.


S — Sales (30% of your score)**


Traffic on its own does not mean much if it is not turning into action.


The Sales pillar looks at how your website and funnel are set up to capture and convert interest. It checks for things like clear calls to action, ways to collect leads, and whether there is enough trust built in for someone to take the next step.


A lot of businesses fall short here, not because of their offer, but because their website is not really built to convert.


H — Hold / Retention (20% of your score)**


Keeping a client is often easier than finding a new one.


The Hold pillar looks at how you stay connected after the first interaction. It checks things like your email activity, follow up, referral opportunities, and whether you have a system to keep people engaged over time.


This is an area a lot of businesses overlook, but it plays a big role in long term growth.

GEO — The Metric Nobody Is Talking About Yet


Here’s something most marketing agencies won’t tell you: **Google is no longer the only search engine that matters.**


When a financial advisor types “what’s the best marketing agency for my practice” into ChatGPT — your website either shows up in the answer or it doesn’t. When someone asks Perplexity “who does fractional CMO work for small businesses” — you’re either being cited or you’re invisible.


This is called **Generative Engine Optimization** — GEO for short — and it’s the fastest-growing blind spot in marketing right now.


We built a full GEO scoring system into the C.A.S.H. Report because we saw this coming and knew most businesses had no idea how exposed they were.


The GEO section audits six components:


SERP Visibility** — Are you showing up in traditional Google search results for your target keywords? If Google can’t find you, neither can its AI Overview feature.


On-Page SEO** — Does your website have the basic technical signals AI crawlers need to understand what you do and who you serve? Missing title tags, absent meta descriptions, and no H1 heading are automatic disqualifiers for AI citation.


Schema Markup** — This is the structured data layer that tells AI systems “this is a local business, this is their service, this is their location.” Businesses with proper JSON-LD schema are significantly more likely to appear in AI-generated answers. We check for Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, and FAQPage schema — and tell you exactly which ones are missing.


FAQ and Q&A Content** — AI tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews are trained to pull answers from FAQ-style content. A dedicated FAQ page answering the exact questions your ideal client types into search engines is one of the highest-leverage things you can add to your website right now. We check whether you have it and give you the exact questions to answer based on your target market.


E-E-A-T Signals** — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. These are the signals Google and AI systems use to decide whether a source is credible enough to cite. Testimonials, case studies, credentials, media mentions, and author bios all count. If you have none of these visible on your website, AI tools will skip you in favor of someone who does.


Brand Authority** — How many social platforms are you active on? How many LinkedIn followers do you have? Are you being mentioned anywhere outside your own website? AI systems treat brand footprint as a proxy for credibility. A business with 1,000 LinkedIn followers, an active YouTube channel, and mentions on third-party sites will outrank an identical business that only exists on its own homepage.


When we tested the C.A.S.H. Report on our own website during development, our GEO score came back at 46 out of 100. That was a wake-up call. Strong SEO foundation, but almost invisible to AI tools because we lacked FAQ content, had no media mentions, and our schema wasn’t complete. We fixed it.
